Do It Yourself (D.I.Y)

Tile Roof- Gutters

Material Required:

500mm wide UltraGuard mesh (same colour as your roof)
90 deg UltraGuard trim (same colour as your gutter)
Hex Head Self drilling screws
Silicon
Drill
All necessary height safety equipment

Steps:

Clean and flush all gutters and downpipes.
Push the second row tile back.
Roll the mesh out and secure the mesh over the lip of the gutter and place trim on top and secure in place using a screw.
Lift and tuck the mesh under the second row of tiles.

Tile Roof- Valleys

Material Required:

1000mm wide UltraGuard mesh

Steps:

Clean and flush all gutters and downpipes.
Roll 1000mm mesh down the valley, making sure it is centred.
Secure the mesh in place to the top of the valley ridge with screws.
Come 1.5 tile widths from the outer side of the valley tray and commence to do triangular cuts in the mesh. The idea is that the mesh needs to be tucked underneath the tiles of the valley.

Metal Roof (Corrugated & Trimdek)- Gutters

Material Required:

250mm wide UltraGuard mesh (same colour as your roof)
UltraGuard saddles either corrugated or trimdek in pattern depending on roof profile
Hex head screws
90 deg UltraGuard trim (same colour as you gutters)
Drill
All necessary height safety equipment

Steps:

Clean and flush all gutters and downpipes.
Roll 250mm wide mesh across the edge of the gutter.
Secure one edge of the mesh over the lip of the gutter and place a trim over the mesh and screw in place.
Place a small snip along side every second corrugation in the mesh. Snip either side of the mesh over the corrugation.
Using the saddle secure over the mesh with a screw. One saddle is to be fitted on every second corrugation.
